My daughter, Miss Hope Elizabeth 21 months old likes to eat the following:
Cole Slaw
Raw Brocolli
Raw Cauliflower
Tossed Salad
Those are just the things I think are the most strange for a child under two years old.
Today I offered her a marshmallow and she saw that I was fixing myself a salad and said "no mallow" and then pointed to mommy's salad. She wanted a salad over a marshmallow, I just find that incredible.
**On a side note, Pierce was stuck in a jam today and I heard him yelling "Lord help me" ....How funny is that?!?

Playing Outside in January.
Come January/February "cabin fever" is usually pretty bad, so yesterday when it was in the 50's outside we took that opportunity to get out and run off some energy. Enjoy......

Did I really sat that?? Also, what did he say??
Here's to all the moms, and all those times we've said things that made us realize we have turned into our mothers.....
Scenario: Eating dinner with a four year old, who as always is picky. A mommy who is fed up with making dinner and sitting down with children who pick, pick, pick....
Me : "Pierce you eat that food"
Pierce: "Mommy I do not like sketti"
Me: "Pierce take a few bites"
Pierce: "Mommy I have it under control" (what the ?@#$)
Me: "Look Pierce there are starving children in Africa who would love to eat that
sketti" (again, what the....)
At the moment those words came out my mouth I realized I had turned into a real mom. While of course it is true there are starving children (and I'm not trying to make light of that, ) it was just such a mom moment......

Our house.
I guess it was sometime in the summer that we discovered a leak in the bathroom. This leak ended up taking out our whole bathroom out (fine by me) so this is how the transformation of our house began. We've lived in this home for 6 years and this is the first time that I've really taken on changing almost every room. I finally got finished in January. Thought I'd post some pics of the finished product. Maybe later I'll do some "before" photos.
I love to decorate and transform and the whole process. Maybe one day I will be able to do this for others. FUN!!
This is the room that started the whole thing....

Paul and the kiddos
Bunco at my pad.
Let's see, I think it was July or August that Jill invited Tracey to join a bunco group with her and then Tracey asked if I would join too. Since then we've gotten to know a great group of girls and it's a blast. January was my month to host and we decided we would do a "p.j. party" so that explains why we are all in our pajamas. We also made breakfast food and it was de-licious!! Also, looks like that our other good friend Jami is going to be joining now too, Yea!!
Here's the whole group....Melissa, Dee Dee, Carla, Gretchen, Mary, Jill, Tina, Jenna, April, Jami, Tracey and Misty.
