The Egg Hunters

We went to my mom and dads house for Easter dinner, which was super yummy!!! While there Paul hid eggs for the kids and here's some pics from the hunt.....

What a great Easter!!! Here's a look at my kiddos, dressed up and with baskets. These pics actually weren't taken until the kids got up from their naps so Pierce was none to thrilled, but still cute.

Wayside Mission.

On this day Pierce and I were FORTUNATE enough to go serve at the Wayside Mission. Call me stupid, call me nieve, but not only was this for my son, this was also for me. I've never been around homeless people and to be honest, at first it made me uncomfortable, but as I looked at them and their babies I just had a heart for them.

I take my job as a parent very serious and I want to teach my children that this world does not revolve around them. I want them to serve others, and I will be happy to do so along side them. Pierce was a little trooper, hiding eggs for other kids and helping them find them, and then serving drinks.

Coloring Eggs

This was the first time I colored eggs with both of my kids. It was a mess!! Let's see, I think three eggs were broken and there was dye everywhere. They had a good time though and we made a memory, that's all that matters.
