I must begin with NKOTBSB.

Funny how things usually come around. Circa 1989 these guys were hawt!! Fast forward 22 years, and all of us have seriously changed, but these guys are still hawt!!!
First of all, I want to give credit to Jami for organizing this concert get together! Many months ago, she was on the horn saying we should go see New Kids On The Block, and Backstreet Boys. I was game!!

Trying to not spend too much money we agreed to the cheaper seats. We were 3 rows from the very tip top, and it was HIGH. I sat there for a long time thinking "how am I going to cut a rug, and not plummet to my death?" After a while though, we kind of got used to it, and thank goodness for the big screens!! (Oh and my glasses)
We tried to go out and eat a respectable dinner, but it was too crazy busy everywhere. Dinner was nachos, and I got cheese sauce on my pants. I was worried Donnie (Wahlberg of course) might not be happy about that, you know when he took me out after the concert!
I had to post this picture of Tracey. I kept teasing her about how old she is (funny, since I'm actually the oldest of the group, aren't I ALWAYS) anyways, she was sitting there with her bag in her lap, like an old lady! HA!

Ready to get this show on the road, and 22 years ago I didn't have to wear glasses to see the show, ha! Nice, hanger things sticking out of my shirt too, geesh!!! Onto showtime.....

How cool is it that Matthew Morrison was there!!! I love him from Glee, and he did a great job :)
Considering that we were 6,478,987,000 miles from the stage, I did manage to get a few decent pictures.

Jordan. Tracey and Jaime will be fighting over who is his TRUE love.
Joey. This one is for Jami!!! :-)
NKOTB together. Woot!!!
BSB. (Never a fan of theirs, but I still had fun even when they were singing)

And Donnie. I know I'm fighting a lot of girls for this one, but I say bring it. ;) I've always loved the bad boys, and even though he's in his forties, he still portrays the part very well ;)I decided that instead of showing anymore pics of the concert, I would share another show with you. The show of 3 middle aged women actin' a fool. Sit back and enjoy (and or laugh)

Look at those giddy girls!!!
Sometimes you just have to sing so loud it hurts!

And sometimes you have to just dance until your feet hurts!

I think Jami was singing for Joey!!

This picture makes me smile!!!

Can't you just see how much fun it was!!
And sometimes you just have to find your inner 13 year old and let go.

Thanks girls for a FUN night!!! I've been to many concerts, and this was one of the best.

I'm baaaaaack!!

I'm home from a week in paradise. Indiana of course.

I've just downloaded over 200 pictures, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed about blogging. I'm also feeling like the last kid in school to turn in their homework assignment. Every one's blogged about the blogger play date, and NKOTBSB, so it will be hard for me to follow everyone else, but I'll try :) I had a great visit, but now it's back to cooking and laundry......

More to come!!

A seriously overdue visit.

This is Rhonda. Just by looking at her can you guess who she might be related to?
Rhonda and I met in 1998, when she worked for a State Farm agent, who shares an office with my dad. Little did I know when we met, she would be a key player in my future to come.

Rhonda and Paul are brother and sister. Can't you tell?? When I first started dating Paul, I used to always tell him, "if I put a wig on you, you would look just like Rhonda!"
Rhonda and I both went to Southeast Christian church for a while, and she introduced me to her brother, my future husband and father of my children. Way to go Rhonda! ;) Paul and I got married in December of 2002, and Rhonda and her husband Edward were married in February of 2003. THEN, we both got pregnant within a month of each other, I promise we weren't calling each other saying "ready, get set, go!"

Pierce Matthew and Sarah Rose, are exactly 5 weeks apart in age.
Okay, you might want to sit down for this part. This little girl here, is Abigail Grace. She is 11 months younger than Sarah. Did you hear that? Oh yeah, Rhonda got preggo with Abigail when Sarah was 3 months old. I didn't follow suit on that one, she was on her own ;)
Then of course along came peanut.
So, Paul's parents got all their grandchildren bam, bam, bam!! While we lived in Indiana, Rhonda and Edward lived in Shelbyville, KY, we were about 40 minutes apart. We used to have frequent play dates, and these cousins were all growing up together. THEN, things changed. Rhonda's husband joined the military, to become a chaplain, and they moved away. First to Florida, and now to North Carolina. With those miles, and different challenges we have faced, we have not seen each other in 2 years!!! That's ridiculous!
Rhonda has been in Michigan staying with her parents, and on her way back to North Carolina, she came through Bowling Green, so we could FINALLY see each other!!

'Reunited, and it feels so good'
Although a short visit, still a good one! The kids were soooo happy to see each other, and play! The chaos and volume level around here, has been epic. I thought about sneaking some vodka a time or two, but I refrained.

Hope was in her element! She had GIRLS to play with!
Poor Pierce (and Paul) were seriously outnumbered, and they had to have their own play going on, so they could cope.
After much play, we took them along to watch Pierce do his I am a serious king fu warrior, tae kwon do.

Can you see Hope's earring's she has on? Rhonda treated the kids to some toys, and of course Hope had to pick our either makeup or jewelry. I don't know where she gets this, it's just beyond me.
Although he was outnumbered, he held his own okay. I did think I heard him weeping a time or two, but he came out unscathed.
Notice how tall Sarah is? She's 4'1!! Oh, and did I mention she's hilarious? She makes Hope look like a wallflower. That girl is a spitfire.
We took the kids swimming today, a little more fun before it was time to head out. :-)Pierce and Hope caught a butterfly....
Hope tried for the life of her, but to no avail.

While Abigail was just content playing.
One more treat for the kiddos. "We're going to Chick-fil-A!!"

Hope broke out in excitement. Notice the diva earring again.
Lunchtime fun, before they had to leave :(
So, what started out as a quick meeting in 1998, actually was the beginning of my future. I've missed these visits, and we simply cannot go another 2 years this time.

I guess they all can't be humdingers.

Well our weekend, has been how shall I put it nicely......boring.

We have done some fun stuff, like swim and girly pedicures, and the park. Overall though, we haven't done a whole lot. We're trying not to always spend money, so we've mainly just been home. I don't mind it so much, except when Paul and I get in an argument such as we did on Saturday, then it's really BORING. ;) Paul and I don't argue very often, but it does happen. You know of course it's all Paul's fault, being that I'm perfect and all. ;)

So, while we were busy not talking to each other, I noticed that Paul had Pierce in his room. Of course being the nosey rosy I am, I had to see what they were up to. Paul decided it was time for Pierce to go through all of his stuff and really clean up his room. Here's a tidbit on Paul, when we argue he does projects. I really should pick fights more often.

Look at that face. You can tell Pierce is scared. Oh, and look at that room!! Geesh.
Yep, here's the mastermind behind the massive cleanup. We may have been mad, but I still had to document this.
Tee hee, look who looks annoyed with me. I'm going to give him full credit though, he got Pierce to get rid of things he didn't need to be holding onto, and his room looks WAY better. Whenever I try to get Pierce to get rid of stuff, he whines about it and I cave, cause I'm a wimp.
TA DA!!! Room much better!!

As is his closet!!
All the work they were doing made me feel like a schmuck to I cleaned out the pantry. (I KNOW, this is riveting info)Oh, and check this out!! He even cleaned out the closet and is giving me said directions on where things belong.
AND his drawers. This could actually be further proof that Big Foot may exist ;)
No worries, we're all made up :-) Even though, I am plotting my next argument so maybe he'll work on Hope's room next.
And just because they're cute, I had to include this.
No our weekend has not been a real humdinger, but lots has been accomplished!!!
