Working girl, day one, complete.

Today was the day.

I went to work for the first time in 8 plus years.

Old lady phone call with T this morning..

G: "Well, I had a couple minutes before I head to work so I'm just calling to say, heller!"

T: "I cannot tell you how weird it is to hear you say that you are going to work..."

And I have to agree with T., it was weird.

But I have HUGE news.

Like you might want to sit down for this news.

Are you ready??

I changed my mind about my outfit.

I opted on a black dress.

I KNOW!

And I even photographed it for you. And posed like I'm a Kardashian or something.

Overall, the day went really well, of course it will be an adjustment, but I'm thankful for the opportunity.

I was surprised by the fact that being around loads of children for most of the day, made me miss my children more. I thought maybe it would have the opposite affect on me. But I was very anxious to go pick up my kids.

We went and celebrated mommy working with an ice cream cone.

So, there you have it!

Working girl, day one, COMPLETE.
