A Christmas list to remember...

Momma needs to make sure that she never forgets what her sweet 5 yr old, and spunky 2 yr old want for Christmas on this year.

Pierce is so sweet. So simple. Of all the things he could ask for, of all the toys in the store and in the catalogs that he's seen, he only has one request.

"A YO-YO."

His simplicity makes me smile.

Then there's Hope.

Her list goes on and on......Baby dolls, jets, princess, a kitty-cat, purses, clothes...YOU GET THE IDEA.

However, she has one special requirement for every single one of these items : THEY MUST BE PINK.

Oh my dear children.

What the ?

When your kids get quiet, you know to go looking.

Usually that's when I find trouble, but sometimes it's just strange....

CASE IN POINT.

Have I told you lately?

Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you there's no one above you
You fill my heart with gladness
Take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles that's what you do

Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!! Here's to 7 more years.

Pure mess.

It was time for the annual "Bush Christmas cookie madness"

I'm not joking when I say madness. Let me tell you we know how to make a mess when we bake, but the kids have a blast!! Pierce was excited as could be. Hope thought she was, but once she realized it was more fun to eat everything than do the work, we lost her.

Pierce set everything up for us, and kept asking me, at least 50 times, "is it time to bake yet?" Here was Hope with the one cookie she worked on...

Pierce did a great job!!! He kept telling me "we've got a lot of work to do mom" HE LOVED IT!!

So proud.

Second outfit change (she changes her clothes at least 5 times a day) She was just good for making messes on herself, and being cute of course ;)

So rotten.

Just one of his masterpieces!!! What a big boy!!!

Bass Pro with Neena

Friday night we headed out to do a little Christmas shopping with Neena (my mom) We ate lunch at Texas Roadhouse, YUM, and then went to Bass Pro to let the kids run around like little wild animals.

My kids LOVE Bass Pro....it's especially fun this time of year. They have all kinds of little things set up for the kids to do. I didn't remember I had my camera until the very end of our little trip, so I just got a few pics....

Wouldn't you know they had a PINK gun. Hope was in heaven.
Poor Pierce, he had to use the PINK gun. Therapy will be needed later.
A tent just her size!!!

Cute.

Isn't this really, the best time of year?!

When Steve Lee gets a hold of your camera....

Friday night, was another beautiful, fantastic, wonderful Murphy Christmas party. Melanie always goes WAY OUT OF HER WAY. Wonderful food, fun games, beautiful decor, and even gifts!!! It's always a great treat.....however, this year instead of the normal "party pics" you will get to enjoy the artwork of Mr. Steve Lee

Somehow, he decided to take over my camera.

Sit back, and enjoy....

Steve's lovely wife, being her lovely self ;)

A girl could get used to this...

I'm telling you what, I've found a new way to live. Forget this waiting on other people stuff, I'm gonna let others wait on me hand and foot. Lay on my cabana, request shrimp and pina colada's, order room service at 11pm, get massages at 2pm, oh and lay in my hot tub while drinks are served to me, yes this is my new life....

Well this was my life for a few days anyway!! We had a great trip. Mexico was a adventure. Much time was spent relaxing, but also an eye opening time for me. Shopping downtown is much different than heading to the Oxmoor Mall. Take a trip with me down memory lane....

This was the view from our room. Not too bad??
First night, getting ready to head out.

On the beach. Looks weird doesn't it?? It was all the moisture in the air, not so good for the hair.

Waiting for someone to serve me....where is my cabana boy????

Our cabana. Pool time, cabana time...repeat all day.

Water is so blue and beautiful,

Hot tub #1, with the swim up bar.

Pool option.

Or how about this one??

Didn't like that one?? Try this one....

Oh okay, how about this one??

Lovely view :)

Ahhhhh....

This is the life.

Night #2....

What is an event, without Rico singing??

Room service, just cause we could.

Oooooo, lunch at an authentic Mexican restaurant. This is not El Nopal.

Friends.

Yes, I know I need a spa treatment. Living the life, took it out of me.

Bus ride anyone??

How about some shopping??

Shopping with the best barterer.....

Last night.

My new way of life is almost over.

Rico and I.

Life is good.

Last sunrise in Mexico.

Goodbye Mexico.
