Please tell me I wont forget...

......I wont forget the moments of tenderness with my children while they are still babies.....

I TREASURE my children and there are times when I feel I might burst with love for them, like tonight at bedtime, putting Pierce to bed....

"Mommy, I love you so much, you are the best mommy in the whole world, and you are only my mommy and no one else's"

I didn't really have the heart to point out that actually I am Hope's mommy too, I knew what he was getting at and it just meant so much.

Gee wiz, I love my children.

Paul's sister (Rhonda) along with her husband, Edward, and the girls, Sarah and Abigail, moved to Pensacola, Fl., over a year and 1/2 ago. We have not seen them since they moved away. Well, this weekend we were all together again!! Paul's parents also came down from Michigan. It was a wonderful weekend!!

Edwards daughter, Anna, graduated from high school and we were all together to celebrate. Friday we all met up at a park and let the kids run and play while all the adults had the chance to just hang out and enjoy one another. Saturday and Sunday we hung out at Rhonda and Edwards place (they just happen to be in-between renters and the house was empty) The kids played in the kiddy pool and had a blast!!! Sunday night we all went out for chinese, and then it was time for good-byes. Crazy, how we plan for something for what seems like forever, and then it's over in an instant. Pam and I are trying to plan a trip down to visit them in the fall... how exciting!!!

So good to see our family again. We love you guys and appreciate your constant love and love for the Lord. We always know what we will get with you guys. Always about the Lord and uplifting, we miss you all and cant wait to see you soon.

Camping

We went out camping for the first time this season over Memorial Day. It was a group from our ABF (adult Bible fellowship) class. It was very hot, but of course the kids didn't mind, and also very "ticky" yuck. My kids really had a good time and I can say this is the first time I noticed that Pierce was ready to go off ALL THE TIME with his friends. Bittersweet.... The best part you ask?? I was able to go home and sleep!! We went to Charlestown park, and we only be 5 minutes away, HOLLA. Momma was able to go home and sleep and shower ;) I like camping, except for public showers, sleeping in a tent, and sweating, and bugs....I guess I'd just prefer to eat with my homies and leave.

Kids sitting down to enjoy some hot dogs.

Checking out the tent for the first time.

Paul chilling with his baby girl.

THIS WAS PIERCE THE ENTIRE TIME...all he did was ride his bike.
