My tired cubbie...

Oh yes, he's growing up....but somedays I see just how little he still is.....on our way to Cubbies he couldnt keep his eyes open.

Labor Day Fun

Camping with children can be, well, difficult. Melanie has experienced the difficulty herself firsthand, and when the Labor Day weekend was coming and everyone talking about camping she came up with a great idea.....camping at their house!!! I jumped on that idea, fast!!! We'd be able to experience camping, but also have indoor plumbing and access to beds if need be!! It was very kind of Matt and Melanie to open their yard and home to 7 adults and 6 kids (not including the Murphy's)

Melanie had the whole weekend planned out....we had tons of yummy food, swimming at O'Bannon park, games, movies, and then a fish fry on Monday with lots of other friends. Overall, the weekend went great. The kids had a BLAST and played hard all weekend long, we did get rain on Sunday night and that was a bummer, but it stopped by the time the fish fry on Monday.

Thanks Matt and Melanie for being so gracious to allow a bunch of crazy kids and adults to take over your place for 3 days. We had a great time and made lots of great memories :)

My Camera.....

Doesn't suck anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tracey said she wanted to get me an early birthday present.....and it's a new camera!!!!!!!! I cannot begin to tell you how surprised I was to get it!!! It flored me. I am so excited!! It's been a long, long time since I could take pictures of my babies while they are asleep, so here goes, just a couple simple pics of my kids asleep.

Is it really going to be this easy??

I decided Tuesday afternoon to start potty training Hope. It's Friday and she pretty much has it down. I am amazed, stunned, shocked...you get the point.

This morning when she woke up she said "I need to pee-pee, I want privathy" (yes, she said it like I spelled it, she has a little lisp) marched herself in the bathroom, shut the door, and did her business. She's even been doing the "big stuff" ...TMI??

I'm sure there will be some accidents, but I think she's got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
