Making good impressions at work, you know by getting pulled over

So, here's me after one full week of work.

Actually it's just a random picture I sent to Tracey, as we are known to do, but it sort of sums me up right now.

Working full-time is a whole new world for me.

Most mornings I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut-off, or better yet, driving so fast into work that, I GET PULLED OVER IN THE WORK PARKING LOT.

YOU GUYS, NO JOKE.

I think once the officer realized that he pulled me over in front of where I work, he took mercy on me.  Thankfully I just got off with a warning and a red face. I basically just waved at the kids like, "hey guys, don't do what Mrs. Bush does!" Oy.

So, I am attempting to adjust, BUT, I really like my job.

I've never worked in a high school setting before, and it's really fun. There is ton to be learned, and my old brain is taking it all in. And my favorite part of the job? Getting to know new people.

And check out my pretty flowers that I bought from the school greenhouse! Supporting those FFA!

And lastly, I just wanted to post this link of Boston fans singing the National Anthem at the Bruins game.

Katherine posted this link on her blog yesterday, and holy cow, it's awesome. The tears just welled up in my eyes, and I have to agree with what Katherine said, God bless America.

Oh no! Hopefully he made it a quick warning too so that not too many people saw you! To make you feel better... my SIL was in such a rush two days ago that she forgot to put her car in park and it rolled backwards to ward a pole AND BENT HER DRIVERS SIDE DOOR FORWARD! It all happens to the best of us :).

Hope you have an awesome Friday!

Seriously, you getting pulled over and waving at the kids- by far the highlight of my week.

You got the Kardashian face down!

Glad you had a good first week :)

Glad you only got a warning! I know that had to be embarrassing enough getting pulled over.

If I remember right, this "pulled over" thing is a habit formed many moons ago? Just thinking.....

Oh my. This is a lot easier to laugh at since you didn't end up getting a ticket though!! Cracking me up.
