Off to a good start

The alarms started buzzing at 6 a.m. and each one of us got out of our beds with a little extra pep. First day excitement was in the air. 

I asked Pierce if he would wear some cute plaid shorts since it was the first day and all. He looked at me like I was trying to ruin his life, so I let the plaid short idea go.

We arrived at school way early and anxiously hung around waiting for the doors to open. 

I wanted to get pictures inside the school, you know with their teachers and everything but they really didn't want me to. So this is it. I decided to not torture them any further.

When I picked them up they both were smiling ear to ear, and Hope said, "I wish school wasn't over for the day!"

So we are off to a good start. So thankful for a school we love and teachers who work so hard taking care of all the children. God bless teachers!
