We are well into our baseball season around here. I guess we are actually halfway through at this point, and at eight games in the Yankees have yet to win a game.
But Tuesday night everyone was certain it was their night to bag a win.
It was a gorgeous evening, and you could feel the electricity in the air. Coaches were giving big speeches right and left, and the kids were chanting away.
And they came out on fire!
I have a tendency to be an anxious soul, so these games and I don't always mix well.
But it's not about me, so I suck it up and snap away. And also scream hysterically when they do well.
They led the entire game but in the 6th inning the other team made a big run and there may have been a little panic. (On my end it was a BIG PANIC.)
But finally there was certainty that the Yankees were actually going to win a game.
It was the morale booster these boys needed.
But this was a sweet evening.
Love my Yankee boys!
