As I was walking out of the gym Saturday morning Paul sent me a text:
Date night tonight. Olivia will be there at 6:00. Telling you now, so you can be ready. ( insert kissy
face emoji)
I do believe I stopped in my sweaty tracks, and a big smile spread across my face.
I honestly do not remember the last time that Paul and I went on a date, I tried to think of it, and I just couldn't remember. I just know that it's been MONTHS.
And who doesn't love being told like that? I know I personally do. And to top it all off he told me that we would go out for sushi which is one of my favorites.
It's not really his favorite, but he found some meat he could dip in sauce so it was all good.
My favorite sushi is from Kansai up home, and I've never found anything that good here. This wasn't bad, but I'm still searching.
We even went on an evening stroll
It was nice just to be out without the children. Even though on said evening stroll we talked about the kids, but at least no one was interrupting us the entire time.
Yes it's saptastic, but we still like each other.

Next time you're both home, we will get a sitter and have a Kansai date night. You and Eric can have sushi and Paul and I will get meat and dip into wonderful sauces.
