Class of 2025

On a hot August day I dropped my youngest off for her first day of kindergarten.

And then I promptly drove away and cried.

I really think handing your children over to school is one of the toughest things.

But the year has been great.

Yes, there have been tears. From the both of us.

But Hope has thrived, matured, learned, and had fun.

And Thursday we celebrated what a great year it's been.

Even big brother got out of class to come cheer the kindergartners on.

You know there is nothing quite as sweet as kindergartners.

They are so innocent and full of life...

But at just 5 and 6 year olds, kids that age are exhausting.

Kuddos to the teachers who do it day-in-and-day-out.  I APPRECIATE YOU!

And wouldn't you know they played that evil Taylor Swift song.

Lump in my throat and a tear in my eye.

I agree with you Taylor, never grow up.

Just a four days left.

And then we have a first-grader.

Class of 2025.

I can not believe how much she has grown and changed in such a short amount of time! She went into Kinder looking like such a little girl and now she looks 16! Make time stop! :)
