Let's go to the country
Where the coal plants run strong.
And people drive from surrounding counties to eat at the Dairy Freeze.
Oh. Except wait. It's closed for Fall Break. So much for the Dairy Freeze idea.
But going to the country?
YEAH, WE HAD THAT COVERED.
Brittany invited us to ride along with her to her in-laws farm in Muhlenberg County, and we always jump at invites to the country.
This is no rinky-dink operation, oh no, this is a FARM.
And being the citified soul that I am, I was basically walking around with my jaw open.
I guess I'm impressed easily.
It was a beautiful day, and a great hands of experience for the kids.
Don was so sweet to give each of the kids a chance to drive.
And that even went for the 38 year old kid.
I considered pushing a child or two out of the way, but I managed to hold it together.
Listen, I was excited! And it was so much fun!
But happiness and excitement just seemed to be in the air.
But there was plenty of space to run it out.
And that's exactly what they did.
Run and run and run.
Or if you are smart, pick flowers instead.
You guys, the country is nice!
And these two were so nice to just let us invade their farm and take over for the day.
We ended our fun day in Owensboro at a place called Moonlight Bar-B-Q.
Where I ate way too much good food, like so much I had to unbutton my pants. Yeah, that good.
BUFFETS FOR THE WIN!
Thankful.
