A decade.

It was a mild December day

And I was a December bride.

I didn't see my groom that day

We only briefly spoke, and held hands, with a door separating us.

I wasn't nervous at all

And of course, Paul wasn't, you know since he never feels that emotion.

I was just excited

And ready to be a wife to Paul.

And on a Saturday evening, at exactly 6:30

We sealed the deal with a kiss.

As we walked off that stage, I remember feeling so happy and excited.

And that first moment, when we were referred to as Mr. and Mrs?  So surreal.

Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday

And sometimes I'm sure we are about to celebrate 50 .

There is so much I could say about our marriage, and the last ten years, but I will sum it up like this

Paul is still my favorite guy.
