I haven't done a, FLASHBACK FRIIIIDAAAAY, in a few weeks, what with the holidays and all. But I'm bringing it back today!! HOLLA BACK GIRL! Can't you tell I peeked in the nineties?
Today, I thought I would show the truth in the statement, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
If you've been around here for a while, you must remember the drama that was HAT DAY. Hope picked out a hat, then decides she doesn't want to wear said hat, and then of course, the drama....
But it seems, I too remember being distraught over a hat at one time.
IT WAS AN EVIL LAMB HAT.
And here we are in all of our 1970's glory, hanging in the woods like people did in the 1970's, with the El Camino in the back.
And you guys, I remember this day very well.
We were actually on a picnic, it was chilly, and my mom of course wanted me to wear a hat to keep my ears protected. And can't you just imagine her mom-happiness, when one day she picked up a cute lamb hat, with adorable lamb ears for her little girl?!
But what I remember? Was feeling like a goon in it! Probably only 3 or 4 years old, and already worried about fashion.
UH, CAN SOMEONE SAY, HOPE!
And the best part? There is an actual photo from that day!
And I would imagine it played out a little something like this....
And now that I've played both roles; one forced to wear a ridiculous hat, and one forced to listen to a blubbering-over-dramatic-child, I must say, WAY TO STAY STRONG MOM, and only make me wear it one time.

Did you really add those captions yourself? Wow, I'm impressed.
Pics of Hope having melt downs NEVER get old!
Those captions crack me up. What your parents must think.... :)
Hilarious! I can't get Lincoln to take his cowboy hat OFF! What does that say about his sense of fashion? Eek!
