Let the games begin.

Literally.

Let the games begin.

Because on Saturday we began our basketball/cheerleading season for 2013.

We had a very nervous/excited little boy and girl on our hands.

By some kind of fluke, all of the kids games have been scheduled at the same.exact.time., so we weren't sure how this would all work out. The original plan was for us to switch weeks, with Paul watching Pierce this time, and me watching Hope.

The gym was packed with people! And I do believe that affected the kids nerves, especially Hope, she just seemed more reserved than usual.

But oh me, this was cute stuff.

I could have just died from the cuteness.

At this point they only know 4 cheers, so just imagine for an hour straight doing the same 4 cheers over-and-over. Yeah. They were going strong for about 20-30 minutes, but you could see the boredom starting to set in. The only thing keeping them going? SNACKS.

Thankfully they took a little break, and this gave me an opportunity to go watch Pierce for a while.

He hasn't played in a basketball league in 4 years, so there's a lot to be learned.

And this is his unsure face.

But no doubt, he hustles! And just as I was getting shushed by Paul for loudly whoppin it up, I had to return to Hope.

Because it was time for their floor routine!

All 200 people turning their eyes to watch these little girls was a lot of pressure!

You could hardly hear their little voices.

And Hope was most definitely nervous. But adorable I say! ADORABLE!

And then for a brief time, both of the kids were within viewing distance for mommy and daddy.

But obviously I didn't stick to the original plan.

I just couldn't help it, I had to watch both of them. And I would imagine from here on out, I will be the one scooting all over the gym in a flurry of excited energy, trying to watch both my babes.

Game one ended with a 4 point loss for Pierce's team, but he scored 6 points! WOOT!

But most importantly, game one ended with two happy little children!

Oh so fun! I would just die from excitement at being able to be in the same location at the same time! We are about to start up soccer for both Graham and Grady and things are going to be busy and interesting trying to get around for both of them all week plus the weekend!

Both your kiddos are to die for cute in their uniforms!
