Easter morning 2012, not much different than any other Easter. Two little excited kids, up at the crack of dawn, ready to find a basket or two.
They were happy little campers when they saw what awaited them downstairs! And I loved their little sleepy faces in this moment.
Chocolate at 7 a.m.? Yes, please.
After some mooring sugar, and cartoons, it was time to get all fancied up for church.
The kids help up okay for the first 28 photos or so.
But once mommy and daddy joined in, they were visually expressing their disgust over all this nonsense.
We worshipped at Graceland this morning, and it felt like old times! And you know I am not above taking pictures in church.
Exhibit A.
Shortly after church though, I had a sad little boy on my hands.
He was dying to see his cousins! And you know in kid time, waiting until 3 in the afternoon to see them is just plain exhausting.
So, I worked overtime to get these two smiling again.
We chatted, and played....
And before we knew it...
We were all around that table again.
Easter 2012, also included an OUTDOOR Easer egg hunt, nice change from last year when it poured rain and we had to do it inside!
Fabulous weather!
And fabulous fun!
And finally LOTS of fabulous time with his cousins!
A great Easter overall!
Not forgetting the reason that we dress up, play and eat chocolate.
Because our Redeemer lives.
